Our goal is to reduce cyber risk for micro-businesses and organizations. CyberWyoming’s vision is to help microbusiness communities become the most secure demographic in the nation through CyberWyoming’s right-sized programs and collaborations. We want to Inspire Transformation in cybersecurity behaviors.

CyberWyoming does this by addressing two main areas:

CyberWyoming is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization that provides training and consulting to businesses, nonprofits, technical professionals, and business advisors in Wyoming. The new field of cyberpsychology plays heavily into our training and education model.

Our Vision for Businesses

Imagine walking into a local shop and seeing a plaque that says Made Safe in Wyoming©, This Business Meets Best Practices in Cyber Security. Wouldn’t you be more inclined to return to that business?

Made Safe is an impartial, non-profit program within the organization of CyberWyoming that helps businesses translate the world of IT to become cyber secure. When a business becomes secure, it brings customers back, distinguishes itself, and reduces attack risk.

CyberWyoming has programs for local Economic Development Agencies to lead the way in their communities, a fun and supportive method to motivate managers to take steps to meet best practices in cybersecurity, and a network of professionals to support those managers in their efforts to manage cyber risk.

How It Started

When it comes to cybersecurity, education is not always enough. The founders of CyberWyoming saw a need to provide micro-businesses and organizations a resource to actually ACT on the next steps to protect themselves. Thus, the concept of Made Safe was born. After becoming an affiliate of CyberUSA in April 2018, CyberWyoming now offers national content and outreach programs.

The CyberWyoming Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit that works with local communities to increase cyber awareness and education. The CyberWyoming Alliance promotes cybersecurity education, outreach, and awareness programs for citizens, senior citizens, students and the business and nonprofit communities that surround them.

There are a few ways you can contribute to CW Alliance. To keep these programs going, you can donate to our organization. If you want to help further, consider joining the CW Alliance Board of Directors.

The CyberWyoming Alliance supports cyber security education, awareness, and outreach programs for local communities. The specific objectives and purpose of this organization is:

Applying for grant opportunities to fund cyber security education, awareness and outreach programs.
Collaborating with local community organizations to tailor outreach programs to specific target markets like senior citizens, students, business and nonprofit communities, small municipalities, and local citizens.
Creating a network for cyber security information sharing in local communities and disseminating threat and new program information to those communities.
